Job Description

Play a pivotal part in directing and ensuring the peak performance, reliability, and safety during the commissioning of our client's power plants. This leadership role demands a blend of on-site commissioning work, strategic foresight, and team collaboration to oversee equipment testing, system integration, and operational handover across our client's varied power generation assets. Lead and manage a team of commissioning engineers and technicians, coordinating greenfield, brownfield, and operational commissioning activities on mechanical and electrical equipment. Drive the commissioning process, overseeing system testing, troubleshooting, and integration efforts to ensure smooth and efficient plant startup and handover. Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and safety departments to plan and execute commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Develop, implement, and enforce commissioning protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and effective working environment. Monitor and assess equipment performance during the commissioning phase, recommending and overseeing necessary adjustments, optimizations, and upgrades to achieve operational excellence. Maintain detailed records of commissioning activities for continuous improvement. Provide technical leadership and support to commissioning teams and stakeholders, cultivating a culture of excellence.
