The Facilities Technician performs day-to-day service and maintenance on cardio and strength equipment to deliver exceptional member experience. This role involves general maintenance repairs within the physical plant of each Corporate Club location and covers the Columbia, SC area. Responsibilities include equipment repair, communication with senior technicians, helpdesk ticket management, club walk-throughs, schedule maintenance, and vehicle maintenance.

As a Field Service Technician, you will provide technical and sales support to customers, evaluate customer claims for warranty disposition, and schedule and coordinate customer visits and project work to optimize travel efficiency amongst other duties.

Interprets blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials. Installs pipes and fixtures; assembles fittings and valves; and modifies length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for installations and services. Performs inspections of plumbing systems to ensure quality control.

The Field Service Technician installs, commissions, monitors, troubleshoots, and repairs Flowserve’s pumps, seals, and other equipment across industries. This role provides real-time technical support to customers and recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and replacement equipment. The FST is actively engaged in troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions onsite at nearby customer facilities.

Lead design and development of Scout hardware systems. Play a crucial role in the hardware design and development of Scout’s on-orbit perception and autonomy capabilities. Develop detailed mechanical designs for complex optomechanical space payloads and collaborate with systems, electrical, optical, and software engineers to integrate subsystems into designs.
