Pharmacy Technician Externship Coordinator

As the Pharmacy Technician Externship Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to coordinate the placement of students with externship sites. You'll oversee the process from the moment a student begins their externship journey through the end of their externship, ensuring all required documentation, scheduling, and communication is completed successfully. This role requires availability during daytime hours, Monday through Friday. You will manage externship placements by confirming site assignments, preparing placement paperwork, scheduling interviews if needed, and setting student start dates. It is important to ensure student compliance with onboarding requirements, including background checks, drug screens, Board of Pharmacy licenses, vaccinations, and externship paperwork. You will act as the primary point of contact for students and externship sites, providing updates and addressing concerns to built and maintain strong relationships.
