Revenue Accountant (Remote-US)

The Revenue Accountant is responsible for overseeing and managing the revenue accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting of the company's financial performance. This role involves analyzing revenue streams, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate. Essential Functions include preparing monthly accruals/schedules and entries for a timely and accurate close process, identifying trends and necessary changes in revenue, accruals and entries, reviewing customer contracts, performing detailed reviews of revenue and billing, preparing journal entries, learning NetSuite revenue recognition principles, creating detailed revenue schedules, challenging the “status Quo” and leading process improvements, supporting integration of new revenue streams, and partnering with internal teams to implement accounting processes.
