Group Senior Accountant

The Group Senior Accountant will be a key member of eyeo’s accounting team, providing expertise on various accounting topics including financial reporting, consolidation, and technical accounting. You will play a vital role in group and German accounting, fundamental business process flows and establishing and maintaining a comprehensive environment of controls to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting rules. This position also offers the opportunity for business partnership with various internal and external teams, including regional accounting teams, consolidation and tax functions, and auditors. Prepare accurate and timely standalone and group financial statements in accordance with the HGB and IFRS on a monthly basis. You will also lead compliance with local statutory reporting requirements by studying existing and new legislation. You will also provide support to Corporate Controller with special inquiries, projects, and ad-hoc analysis and collaborate with Tax, Financial Planning and Analysis, Investor Relations, and other teams; ensure that accurate accounting data is provided in a timely manner. Ad hoc projects are needed as well.
