The Cyber Security Engineer will join the InfoSec Detection Team to provide security guidance, threat hunting, and incident response capabilities, as well as enforce security best practices throughout NEC. You will collaborate closely with the Detection Team, Response Team, and Architects within the group, developing and maintaining NEC security posture, in line with government guidance and our accreditations. You will advise on, investigate, and remediate complex security risks and issues across the business.

We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Solutions Engineer with deep expertise in Security Operations to support solution design, scoping, and technical engagement efforts. This role requires strong hands-on experience with SOC operations, security engineering, and a consultative approach to customer requirements. You will partner with sales teams, engineers, and delivery organizations to craft solutions that improve our customers' security detection, monitoring, and response capabilities.
