Facilitate business domain knowledge from different Shiji products, understand and analyze the data from Business Intelligence point of view, help to design and implement data models which are going to be used to build insights, build dashboards which will allow to discover trends in data, using a state-of-the-art Business Intelligence tool, build and optimize SQL queries for the respective data, maintain technical documentation.
This role involves working directly with colleges and universities across the US and Canada to explore their reporting needs and provide the necessary services to help them make better decisions using their data. You'll join a team of SaaS-focused consultants, using a variety of tools as schools modernize and move to a SaaS-ready world to help college and university clients to develop business intelligence strategies

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will scale data infrastructure, streamline data workflows, and ensure reliable data delivery across the organization. Design, build, and maintain ELT workflows, troubleshoot data issues, and collaborate with data consumers and producers.
Contribute to and support the development internal analytics capabilities. You’ll work closely with senior BI engineers and business teams to deliver actionable insights, build scalable reporting solutions, and continuously improve how data is leveraged. This is a hands-on, learning-rich role ideal for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience in BI, data, or analytics who’s ready to grow into a more advanced engineering role.
Participates in planning, definition, and high-level design of data solutions, exploring alternatives and evaluating new technologies. Develops and maintains scalable cloud-based data infrastructure, ensuring alignment with the organization's decentralized data management strategy. Designs and implements ETL pipelines using AWS services. Establishes and enforces data governance practices, including compliance with data privacy, access controls, and lineage requirements, across the organization’s data assets.
