This part-time position at the Center for Wellness and Counseling (CWC) provides mental health support to a diverse student body through counseling, referrals, crisis management, and wellness programming. The role involves mental health counseling, triage, walk-in response, crisis intervention, outreach, and consultation.

Provide high-quality virtual mental health care to students in school districts nationwide by conducting initial mental health intakes and assessments for K-12 students; collaborate with Hazel Mental Health Therapists to ensure children successfully transition into our services and provide culturally relevant and age-appropriate counseling and treatment.

Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families (virtually or in-person). Full-time clinicians must see a minimum of 25 clients per week; Part-time clinicians need to see a minimum of 10 clients per week (minimum of 12 hours of availability). Conduct assessments, diagnose, and develop treatment plans. Complete timely electronic documentation (within 72 hrs).

As a Student Wellness Coach, you will be responsible for conducting one-on-one coaching sessions to support students in addressing mental health concerns and academic challenges, developing and implementing effective wellness programs and workshops to enhance student well-being, and performing comprehensive wellness assessments. This role requires a commitment to supporting student well-being.

Shape the learning and development journey of Better Connect’s clinical workforce by designing and delivering high-impact training for Mental Health Nurses, Allied Health clinicians, and Psychologists. You'll also provide clinical supervision and mentorship to staff across the region, supporting high-quality, evidence-based care and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
