The Third Cook fills a support position within the Culinary team, preparing a wide variety of menu items to fulfill both the bagged lunch program, as well as items featured on both the breakfast and dinner menus to meet contract standards. The Third Cook will work with Culinary leads to present attractive and well-prepared products each day. The position involves a remote work lifestyle in a camp setting.

You will prepare meals, box lunches and dinner for the crew as well as snacks, typically starting your day at 8 am preparing lunches and supper. The role requires some flexibility as you'll cook meals for teams arriving early or late, paid hourly from the first meal cooked until the last person is served. Based in Gillam Manitoba, you'll have your own room, laundry facilities, and access to internet/Wi-Fi, with daily check-ins with management.
