As a Build Engineer, you will help own the evolving design, scalability, and reliability of our entire pipeline infrastructure. You'll work across deployments in Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, macOS, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions to ensure our pipelines can support our ever evolving developer and product needs. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our product pipelines and make an impact at scale.

You will qualify and validate hardware utilized across all DigitalOcean products and components. You will be a part of a team of engineers who have already paved the way for the many tens of thousands of servers in our infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be eager to face new challenges as DigitalOcean continues to scale its data center footprint and explore new technologies.

Systems Engineering provides infrastructure and related services to the rest of the business, increasing focus on software-defined infrastructure and adopting new methods and technologies. Global teams need an architect to provide technical oversight, thought leadership, an example for our rising stars to follow, and an information conduit to leaders in other geos. This position offers high work-product visibility, access to leadership and senior technical staff, substantial breadth of technical responsibility, and the opportunity to shape the skills growth of other engineers.
