Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide daily remote monitoring for storage environments and support via e-mail, remote access, and phone.
- Write and submit knowledge-based articles on cases closed and demonstrate a thorough technical and business understanding of clients' needs.
- Develop positive and trustworthy relationships with customers and manage post-sale relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- BS in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
- Must have in-depth technical knowledge and problem analysis skills, with excellent troubleshooting capabilities.
- Does not wait for guidance, proactively identifies and delivers value to customers.
Skills and Experience:
- Able to work a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd work shift with occasional overtime, requiring availability for Central and East Coast business hours.
- Preferred 4+ years' experience providing technical support for storage or enterprise-level infrastructure products.
- Good understanding of technical fundamentals including open system platforms (UNIX, Linux, Windows) and networking.
