Position Summary:
- Join the DevTools Business Unit as a senior technical sales engineer serving the North American East region.
- Serve as the technical liaison between prospective customers and internal product, marketing, and delivery teams.
Responsibilities:
- Engage throughout the sales lifecycle to present the value of technical solutions across brands like Akana, Components, Gliffy, OpenLogic, JRebel, and Zend.
- Provide architectural guidance on solution fit, implementation approach, risk tradeoffs, and compliance considerations.
- Contribute to the broader technical community through conference sessions, webinars, blog posts, and open source engagement.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles.
- Hands-on experience with Java and/or C/C++ enterprise development and strong Linux background.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and open source software adoption.
