Role and Responsibilities:
- Work with Account Executives and regional sales teams to shape technical account strategies that increase qualified pipeline and support expansion opportunities.
- Run technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and validation activities to define success criteria and accelerate technical validation across the software development lifecycle.
- Own technical evaluations as the primary point of contact, including proof of concept and proof of value activities, solution design, and workshop delivery that produce documented outcomes and clear next-step decisions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar customer-facing roles.
- Ability to run technical evaluations such as proofs of concept, proofs of value, workshops, tenders, audits, or value stream assessments.
- Working knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including DevSecOps practices and continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows.
Team and Culture:
- Serve as a technical partner for the field, helping customers and internal teams see the value of GitLab's platform approach during complex engagements.
- Work closely with go-to-market and product organizations, bringing field feedback into conversations about product direction, services, enablement, and value messaging.
- As a distributed team in an all-remote environment, rely on clear communication, sound judgment, and common practices to work with customers across regions.
