- Define the metrics framework, find root causes of churn, and fix them in the product.
- Spend real time with subscribers across ages and incomes to shape the roadmap.
- Make retention a company-wide muscle by sharing strategy, data, and wins.
Your first year:
- First 90 days: deep dive into product, data, and subscribers; ship first experiment; publish retention metrics framework.
- By month 6: own a prioritized retention roadmap with early wins shipped and measured.
- By month 12: retention is moving, engagement rituals are live, and you're the go-to person for subscriber retention insights.
