Job Description
The Information Systems Administrator supports and improves OpenSesame’s internal IT systems, resolving escalated issues, managing core tools, and driving automation and security initiatives. This role is ideal for someone proactive and hands-on, ready to take ownership in a fast-paced environment. Within 30 days, you'll meet with the IS Manager to understand team priorities, review OpenSesame’s existing IT infrastructure, shadow IT Support Specialists, and complete onboarding. Within 60 days, you'll independently manage escalated IT support tickets, complete project assignments, and maintain enterprise data and internet security practices. By 90 days, you'll carry a full workload, participate in cross-training, and identify automation-based solutions to improve internal processes and contribute to security compliance audits. Finally, within 120 days, you'll audit account provisioning workflows, identify manual workflows for automation, and transition into autonomous operations, managing support tickets and systems projects with minimal oversight.
