Job Summary:

  • Instrumental in keeping the promise to new partners that joining Mercer will be better.
  • Single point of contact for new partners, guiding them through organizational transition.
  • Accountable for the commercial, cultural, and operational success of acquired firms.

What You Will Own:

  • Participating in pre-LOI diligence to assess cultural and organizational readiness.
  • Leading Business Introduction meetings to understand growth history and team dynamics.
  • Project managing issues identified during the LOI-to-close phase.

Value Creation:

  • Owning the post-close value creation plan, including repricing and organic growth initiatives.
  • Monitoring growth, margin, and productivity metrics monthly.
  • Identifying and mitigating advisor and client retention risk proactively.

Performance Monitoring and Intelligence:

  • Maintaining the Firm Health Score across five dimensions.
  • Providing monthly qualitative inputs and validating quantitative outputs for performance management.
  • Contributing to post-mortem reviews to improve future diligence.
