Government Compliance Specialist (FAR/DFARS)

This is a fully remote position, open to candidates across the US. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and knowledgeable Government Procurement Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our organization remains compliant with federal procurement regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other related policies. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating government contracting requirements, preparing compliance documentation, and performing risk assessments to mitigate regulatory and operational risks. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the organization adheres to all federal procurement regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and other applicable laws and policies in both prime and subcontracting agreements. Review government contracts and subcontract agreements to identify compliance risks and assist the business in understanding such requirements. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation. Deliver training sessions on FAR/DFARS compliance to relevant internal teams. Prepare and maintain compliance reports, policies, and procedures. Act as the primary point of contact for all compliance-related inquiries regarding federal contracts. Continuously monitor and review changes in FAR/DFARS and related regulations.
