Job Description
Direct and Oversee:
- Trade Compliance team, ensuring adherence to U.S. export and import regulations.
- Classification of imported and exported goods.
- Organization’s registration and compliance with SAM.gov.
Compliance and Strategy:
- Maintain trade compliance policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement compliance strategies and policies.
- Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with legal, commercial sales, procurement, and operational teams.
- Manage relationships with external trade consultants and regulatory agencies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for trade compliance inquiries.
