Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Own a well-scoped feature or component end to end — design, build, test, and how it behaves in production.
• Plan and design within your scope, translating requirements into clear plans and specs for AI execution.
• Direct implementation rather than writing it line by line, breaking work into tasks and going hands-on for debugging or tricky edge cases.

Testing and Quality:

• Own testing as a design decision, deciding what needs coverage and directing AI to build tests.
• Review everything with rigor, catching assumptions AI won't flag.
• Deploy through the CI/CD pipeline and respond when something breaks.

Qualifications:

• Write production services in Java, Python, C#, Kotlin, or Go.
• Build APIs and data models, including REST contracts, authentication, schema design, and SQL.
• Ship and operate code in the cloud with containers and CI/CD, plus on-call experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range: $125,000 - $175,000 USD annually, based on experience and location.
