Responsibilities:
- Codes assigned accounts in accordance with the rules, regulations, and coding conventions set forth by NCHS (CDC) and AMA.
- Abstract patient data.
- Communicates with Care Providers by creating queries to clarify and improve documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Health Information Management, Hospital Administration, Business or related field of study and 1-2 years experience
-Associate's Degree Health Information Management, Hospital Administration, Business or related field of study and 3-5 years experience in Pediatrics
-Must have one of the following upon hire: Certified Professional Coder
