Backend Engineer

About You:

• Work through AI agents to direct and review agent-written code, and have opinions about which models to use for which tasks.
• Have deep customer empathy and thrive in the details, improving the customer experience and enhancing product offerings.
• Own your work and yourself, taking initiative and shipping fast while openly owning mistakes.

Things You’ll Do:

• Build, evolve, and maintain enterprise-grade integrations, owning the full lifecycle and treating agents as first-class contributors.
• Lead important projects, framing problems into agent-friendly tasks and pairing with AI systems.
• Design and operate agent “harnesses” so agents can safely modify integrations at scale.

Level Differentiation:

• Understand how the team’s integration services work end-to-end and can explain them clearly to others.
• Consistently ship well‑tested, well‑documented, maintainable code that follows team conventions for integrations.
• Actively seek feedback from manager and peers and use it to improve skills and habits.
