We are seeking a Senior Staff Engineer in Temporal's Cloud Global Services team to lead the technical strategy and execution of the Unified Temporal Proxy initiative. This role spans architecture, cross-team collaboration, customer engagement, open-source leadership, and long-term product ownership, with a mandate to build and deliver a reliable, extensible foundation.

The Senior Software Engineer role delivers high quality code in a timely manner while leading and working with engineering managers to design solutions. Working in an agile environment you will provide technical leadership and senior technical expertise and support while delivering quality software and helping lead the continuous improvement of our technical delivery and agile processes.

As a Software Developer, you will help design, build, and integrate the VA Voicebot platform with existing VA systems, focusing on developing robust, secure, and user-friendly conversational experiences while ensuring compliance with VA security and interoperability standards.

Support with the architecture, design and implementation of the used IAM solution. Connecting application systems, directory services and cloud services to the IAM tool landscape. Participate in conceptual workshops for the further development of the IAM. Be the Technical contact person within the company for the topic of IAM. Maintenance and expansion of the IAM systems, including corresponding documentation.
