Revenue Specialist, OSM

Position Summary:

• Responsible for proper submission and adjudication of Medicaid claims while meeting deadlines and protocols.
• Handle patient health information with extreme privacy and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify patient eligibility, analyze claim payments, and review UB-04 billing components for accuracy.
• Prepare and submit Medicaid bill packets with supporting documentation, and conduct timely follow-up with payers.
• Manage authorizations, appeal denials, and work as part of a team to move work through the department.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2+ years' healthcare billing/collections experience and 1+ years' client-facing customer service.
• Strong computer proficiency and intermediate understanding of insurance claims processing.
