Cloud Network Engineer

Implement and maintain cloud network configurations including VPCs, subnetting, routing, and segmentation. Configure Route 53 DNS zones, routing rules, failover, and internal/external resolution. Set up and maintain VPN and AWS Direct Connect connectivity for hybrid or multi-environment integration. Configure AWS WAF, load balancers (ALB/NLB), and firewall policies. Apply and manage IAM policies tied to network controls and Zero Trust access enforcement. Enforce Zero Trust network standards including micro-segmentation and east-west traffic control. Troubleshoot network connectivity, DNS issues, traffic routing failures, and access problems. Ensure network configurations align with RMF, STIGs, IL5 cloud security requirements, and Zero Trust guidance.
