Identify, evaluate, and support acquisition opportunities across local and national media, with a focus on subscription-driven businesses. This role blends research, analytics, and strategic insight to fuel Axios’ expansion strategy and help us scale our impact in a rapidly changing media landscape. Responsibilities include: Market Research & Prospecting to map the competitive landscape, develop a pipeline of targets, and track market trends. Financial & Strategic Analysis to conduct financial assessments and prepare valuation models. Due Diligence Support to gather data and partner with internal teams to evaluate integration potential. Qualifications include experience in finance, consulting, or corporate development, with a strong interest in the media landscape.
