Position Overview:

• Drive execution for product and engineering teams with AI at the core.
• Own technical architecture, AI architecture, and agentic engineering best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Own AI technology strategy, including model selection, fine-tuning, harness design, and cost control.
• Deploy agentic engineering at scale for matching, vetting, onboarding, delivery, and operations.
• Make AI quality measurable through evals, regression suites, and review loops.
• Rebuild platform building and operations to raise output per engineer.
• Decide team structure and own resourcing and workforce planning.
• Own platform architecture, throughput, reliability, and cost structure.

Expectations:

• In first week: Learn model and platform architecture, meet leaders, establish rhythm with CEO.
• In first month: Assess engineering function and AI maturity, bring strategy.
• In first three months: Execute plan, stand up shared AI architecture, put agentic workflow into production.
• In first six months: Show business impact in at least two workflows, build leadership team.
• In first year: Run advanced engineering org with AI leverage embedded.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in CS/Engineering or related, advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years engineering leadership, including CTO or VP Engineering.
• Hands-on command of modern AI engineering, foundation models, agentic architectures.
• Experience scaling and modernizing large codebase, leading global remote team.
• High-volume marketplace or multi-tenant platform experience a plus.
• Outstanding communication, speed, ownership, and quality.
