Category Strategy & Insights:
- Own Chomps’ category growth strategy, including annual Category Growth Story and competitive POV.
- Translate syndicated, panel, and retailer data into actionable growth recommendations.
- Serve as internal SME on category performance and shopper behavior.
Retailer-Facing Category Leadership:
- Partner with Sales Leadership to develop customer-specific growth strategies and retailer-ready recommendations.
- Drive assortment optimization, space management, and shelf strategy to build merchant credibility.
- Establish Chomps as a trusted category advisor through compelling, data-backed growth stories.
Cross-Functional Influence & Capability Building:
- Act as strategic thought partner to Sales, Marketing, Innovation, and Executive Leadership.
- Define measures of category leadership impact across retailer engagement, distribution, and velocity.
- Translate whitespace and shopper insights into portfolio and innovation strategies.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing Category Leadership team with a culture of accountability and learning.
- Coach team members through KPIs, quarterly initiatives, and career development.
- Elevate capabilities in category strategy, shopper insights, data-driven decision-making, and AI-enabled tools.
