Engineering Manager

Mozilla is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers working on either the DOM team or the SpiderMonkey Javascript team. The DOM team is responsible for the Gecko implementation of web standards including Storage, File System, Web Workers, Push API and Notifications API. The SpiderMonkey Javascript team is responsible for Mozilla's Javascript engine and Javascript standards. The Engineering Manager will mentor and guide a diverse team of engineers, inspiring collaboration and growing their careers. You will own the team roadmap, manage risks, balance resources and clear blockers. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of hands-on people management experience and a software engineering background.
