Job Description
Culinary:
- Responsible for directing and assisting the Chef Manager and hourly staff in all aspects of menu writing.
- Treat the cafe as it's your own business and ensure company standards for safety are met.
- Assist with food production including grab and go items and executive catering needs.
Operations:
- Responsible for maintaining vendor and client relationships and the oversight of supplies.
- Arrange for all equipment purchases and repairs and work closely with the Chef regarding purchasing.
- Determine production schedules and staff requirements to ensure timely delivery of services.
People:
- Provide direction and manage performance of all direct and indirect reports.
- Instruct, train, and mentor in cooking, garnishing, presentation of food and customer service.
- Provide superior customer service, attentiveness, approachability, greeting and thanking customers.
