Job Description

The Senior Manager, Organizational Learning & Development provides leadership direction to YMCAs on career development and organizational learning for their staff. The role delivers operational guidance for the development, implementation and engagement of the YMCA Competency model and YMCA Certification system for program and leadership. In addition, provides strategic and operational leadership to the YMCA program offerings for staff career growth and pipeline development including the development and implementation of key cohort programs. The individual will design and develop resources to support the full talent management cycle and ensure staff have access to self-directed learner tools in collaboration with the Y Network and Y- USA key stakeholders. The role requires a master facilitator responsible for developing local Y trainers.The position ensures that high-impact leadership-development programs enable competency development and career progression among YMCA leaders and supports building and retaining the talent pipeline in the Y network, ensuring success and impact of leaders at all levels.
