Responsibilities:
- Meet performance standards and follow all company policies and procedures, assisting with projects, reports, and audits as requested.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy, participate in performance improvement processes, and ensure accurate and complete patient records.
- Exemplify excellence in customer communications and service, with a working knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and Medicare requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred; active Pharmacy Tech certification is preferred but not required.
- Experience: Previous pharmacy and patient-based service experience, with retail experience preferred; strong customer service skills and comfort with Outlook, Excel, Word, and new software systems.
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service abilities, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills, accurate data entry, organizational skills, and ability to work with diverse groups including patients and physicians.
