Job Description

The intern will conduct legal and policy research, draft reports, and analyze federal and state legislation, advocacy efforts, and related legal and policy issues, as well as prepare advocacy and public education materials and draft memorandum and correspondence. They will monitor legal and legislative developments in state legislatures and in Congress, as well as Executive branch regulatory and administrative actions and work with teammates to manage projects. The intern should have strong knowledge of immigration law and policy and be committed to advancing the mission of the ACLU.
