Key Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise systems administration, network operations, and O&M across the USMEPCOM enterprise.
- Manage Windows and UNIX/Linux systems, VMware ESXi, SANs, collaboration tools, and cloud infrastructure.
- Direct the Outage Response Team and coordinate with government leadership, vendors, and DISA.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years managing enterprise IT teams in geographically dispersed locations.
- Extensive experience with network systems, including LAN, WAN, MPLS, BGP, and firewall administration.
Certifications:
- Must hold or obtain ITIL 4 Foundation or Practice Manager certification.
- Required to obtain MCSE, CCIE or CCDE, and at least one security certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP).
- Active Secret clearance required.
Clearance and Travel:
- Primarily remote position with approximately 25% travel during first six months, decreasing to 10%.
- Candidates in Chicago area preferred but not required.
