Director of Development, Pacific Northwest and Northern California

Purpose of the Role:

• Lead and grow the Foundation's fundraising program for the Pacific Northwest and Northern California.
• Work closely with Foundation leadership and regional connectors to build relationships and cultivate six and seven-figure gifts.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Create and lead strategy for a portfolio of annual and major gifts prospects, managing over 100 prospects.
• Build and manage relationships with prospects through visits, correspondence, and events of varying scale.
• Collaborate with Executive Leadership on high-capacity donor management and support principal travel.

Required Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of experience in fundraising for complex organizations, with regional knowledge of key markets.
• Track record of building relationships with major donors and closing gifts of at least $1M.
• Deep understanding of fundraising programs, high-level gift strategies, and data-driven moves management.
