Senior Claims Representative

Responsibilities:

• Investigates claims by speaking with insured parties, analyzing reports, and utilizing evaluation tools for damage assessments.
• Determines policy coverage through data analysis and policy terms, notifying agents and insureds of any coverage issues.
• Establishes and adjusts claim reserves as necessary and negotiates settlement amounts within assigned authority limits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred with a high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience with claims handling skills preferred and strong customer service and technology abilities.
• Able to navigate multiple systems with strong organizational and communication skills, and may require licenses in multiple states.

Work Arrangement:

• Remote work is available with a requirement to visit the office twice monthly if residing within 50 miles of specified locations.
• The policy applies to offices in Plano, TX; Hoffman, IL; Suwanee, GA; or Boston, MA, and is subject to change.
