Job Description

This internship is designed to provide interns with the opportunity to learn about public interest work, explore personal research opportunities, and engage in policy advocacy and public writing for issues on reproductive freedom. Given the scope of the Liberty Policy and Government Affairs team, the intern may also receive assignments on emerging needs, such as transgender justice and disability rights. Your Day to Day includes conducting research on issues related to reproductive freedom, preparing, producing and developing advocacy materials. Also includes attending meetings to gain firsthand knowledge of active cases and advocacy projects while monitoring legal and legislative developments in state legislatures and in Congress, as well as regulatory and administrative actions as it relates to reproductive freedom. Legal research and writing projects on developing federal and state legislative and executive trends impacting reproductive freedom.
