Solar Programs, Associate - Consumer Protection

Assist with driving customer participation in programs that incentivize the adoption of distributed and community solar. Solar energy is critical in driving our nation’s progress toward a decarbonized grid. This position will be a part of the Consumer Protection team supporting work as the Program Administrator for Illinois Shines. Evaluate participating customer complaints as a member of a high-performing team. Work with consumers on their complaints and help facilitate resolution of those complaints with the consumer’s solar companies; escalate issues as appropriate to Program leadership. Investigate allegations of Program violations, make recommendations for potential disciplinary action, and draft disciplinary-related letters to vendors alleged to have violated Program requirements.
