Job Description

The Supervisor of Patient Access is responsible for overseeing the Patient Access staff, ensuring top-notch customer service and a welcoming environment for patients and their families. This involves supporting clinicians, monitoring documentation and patient outcomes, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role includes managing daily documentation and compliance, safeguarding patient health information, and communicating payer updates. It also requires building a high-performing administrative team, providing training and development, and fostering an engaging work environment. Furthermore, the Supervisor will monitor Net Promoter Scores, manage resolutions, and implement action plans to address negative feedback, as well as provide administrative support and manage special projects. The position requires a high school diploma, two years of supervisory experience, administrative skills, and a valid driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree and experience in a multi-site environment. Candidates should be skilled in customer service, communication, and Windows-based technologies.
