Billing Representative

Key Responsibilities:

• Input and update patient and insurance data in the computer billing system.
• Review and mail monthly statements for private, commercial, compensation, and problem accounts.
• Follow up with physicians, referral sources, and litigation cases to ensure documentation and billing authorization.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate required; associate degree in business preferred.
• Three years of hospital or related prior employment experience required.
• Strong math, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; medical terminology preferred.
