Responsibilities:
- Perform linguistic quality assurance reviews and manage glossaries in Smartling to ensure high-quality Urdu translation and localization.
- Handle client feedback and arbitrations, providing cultural consultation and implementing changes to meet stakeholder needs.
Quality Management:
- Liaise with language specialists and translation teams via emails and meetings to share feedback and drive overall language quality improvements.
- Proactively monitor LQA reports, address issues timely, and work on internal RCAs and QIPs as instructed by the quality team.
Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in Urdu-Pakistan with excellent English command and 5+ years in translation or localization.
- At least 2 years as a Language Lead or Senior Linguist, familiar with CAT tools, TMS systems, and Pakistani cultural nuances.
