Role:
- Early senior hire at a startup with wide scope, ambiguity, and direct influence.
- Own client engagements end to end and stand behind verification and audit procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead complex engagements and explain AI-generated work to client finance teams.
- Define audit methodology and quality standards for AI workflows, and design evals.
- Review workpapers and sign off before they reach clients or engagement partners.
Qualifications:
- 6–10+ years of audit experience, active CPA, and AICPA standards knowledge.
- Comfortable with AI tools and able to judge automated output.
- Strong client presence and excellent written communication.
