Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate medication approvals by communicating directly with insurance companies and healthcare providers regarding prior authorizations.
- Navigate pharmacy operating systems to enter data, adjudicate claims, process refills, and develop follow-up action plans.
- Document patient concerns, prior authorization status, and financial assistance needs within databases and electronic medical records.
Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire Pharmacy Technician License required.
- At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience with strong knowledge of test claims, adjudication, prior authorization, and appeals.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) preferred or must be obtained within 9 months.
