Investment Compliance Technical Lead

About the Role:

• We're looking for someone who sits at the intersection of investment compliance expertise and technical architecture.
• You'll lead a project for a trillion-dollar AUM asset manager, transforming how they manage Investment Management Agreements (IMAs).

What You’ll Do:

• Assess the landscape by mapping how restrictions and benchmarks are currently expressed across IMAs, amendments, and CRIMS configurations.
• Design the semantic model with canonical vocabulary, schema, and rule composition that includes effective dating and versioning.
• Resolve ambiguity by working with legal and compliance stakeholders to turn guideline language into computable rules.

What You’ll Bring:

• Technical architecture implementation experience with rules engines like Drools, DMN, or Camunda.
• Investment compliance expertise in coding guidelines into pre- or post-trade compliance rules on platforms like Charles River or Aladdin.
• High agency and strong writing to frame ambiguous problems and communicate clearly with both lawyers and engineers.
