Copy Editor

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining the high quality of stories.
• Managing the flow of copy.
• Publishing work online.

You will also be responsible for:

• Editing complex and lengthy investigations.
• Editing breaking news stemming from deep dives, newsletters, graphics, videos and columns.
• Converting stories from partner newsroom styles into Associated Press style.

Other responsibilities include:

• Helping draft corrections, clarifications and updates to stories.
• Filling in for the assistant managing editor for standards.
• Ensuring all copy is consistent and typo-free.
