Job Description
As the first sales hire, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling OpenObserve from its current position to $10M+ ARR. You'll have the unique opportunity to build our enterprise sales motion from the ground up, working directly with the founding team to shape our go-to-market strategy. Key responsibilities include owning full-cycle enterprise sales, developing strategies for cloud and self-hosted offerings, converting open-source users into enterprise customers, and collaborating with DevRel and Engineering teams.
Additional responsibilities include building relationships with technical decision-makers, creating sales processes, contributing to product strategy, and navigating complex enterprise procurement processes. Required qualifications include 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, a track record of closing deals in observability, and strong technical aptitude.
