Job Description

The legal interns will provide essential support to our litigation efforts and acquire valuable experience through collaboration with our team on diverse issues. The intern will conduct legal research and analysis, assist in drafting memoranda, motions, declarations, and legal pleadings, and offer general support for ongoing litigation, including cite-checking. Supporting the development of new litigation projects and working on fact development, conducting background research, or tracking and analyzing bills may also fall under the intern's responsibilities. The internship is open to law students who will have completed at least one year of law school before the internship commences. Interns should possess excellent legal research and writing skills, strong oral communication skills, the ability to balance multiple assignments, a collaborative attitude, and demonstrated commitment to public interest law, civil rights and liberties, and social justice.
