Chief Technology Officer

Masabi is hiring a hands-on, deeply technical Chief Technology Officer to shape the next era of our platform’s architecture, innovation, and customer impact. This role is central to Masabi’s strategic direction, combining architectural ownership, technical excellence, and product foresight to drive global transit transformation. The scope covers the entire Engineering organisation of about 150 people, including development, operations and compliance. You’ll be our most senior and capable technologist, championing architectural clarity, technical depth, and inclusive, AI-driven innovation. You’ll also be a key figure in strategic customer engagements, especially where technology is at the core of the conversation. This is a remote-first leadership role, open to candidates in the Romania. Some occasional travel may be required for planning sessions, strategic customer engagement, or team events.
