Payroll Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Own full-cycle payroll operations including data validation, processing, reconciliation, and submission.
• Process all compensation types, such as regular, bonus, commission, and termination payments, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Anticipate and mitigate payroll risks by analyzing root causes and implementing preventive measures.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Act as subject matter expert and primary escalation point for HR, Finance, Accounting, and external vendors.
• Prepare and analyze payroll, tax, and GL reports, partnering with Finance to reconcile liabilities and address variances.
• Convey complex payroll concepts and risk considerations clearly to leadership and stakeholders at all levels.

Process and Compliance Excellence:

• Oversee time and attendance accuracy, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with state wage and hour rules.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Lead quarter-end and year-end processes, including W-2 review and annual tax filings.
