About the Role:
- Identify and prioritize high-value commercial use cases where Planet's imagery archive and AI infrastructure generate differentiated economic signals.
- Spearhead a technology innovation pipeline from initial hypothesis through MVP validation.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Data Science to translate AI-led strategy into actionable roadmaps.
Impact You'll Own:
- Convert field insight into structured, repeatable AI-enabled concepts.
- Serve as a senior thought partner to Commercial leadership.
- Drive adoption of innovation outputs across Sales and Customer Success.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years in commercial strategy, customer-facing roles, and analytics product development.
- Deep familiarity with commercial market data use cases.
- Ability to prototype and pitch AI concepts.
- Working knowledge of geospatial AI landscape.
- Track record of building momentum in ambiguous environments.
