Senior Proxmox Engineer (3-month contract)

Project:

• Verify client Proxmox environments in the Netherlands and bring them to a stable state.
• Run a three-phase assignment: assessment, stabilisation, and knowledge transfer.
• Serve a managed services provider for government and regulated markets.

Role:

• Assess cluster, storage, networking, HA, and backup for gaps and risks.
• Implement agreed corrections, validate backup/restore, and support OpenStack.
• Produce runbooks and transfer knowledge to the operational engineer.

Expectations:

• 10+ years in IT infrastructure, 2+ years with Proxmox VE in production.
• Advanced Linux, networking, capacity analysis, and automation scripting.
• Strong communication and teaching skills, able to work independently.
